Cutting the ties off from my mother

I hated her. I hated her ever since I was a child. It's just that I'm actually servevely cutting off the ties from her, since she came from a Vietnamese background.

The problem is, unlike her, the current generation of Vietnamese girls and women, like myself and my older sis, are that more are giving more freedom and have the right to express themselves. Even, if they do not want to become doctors or anything useful, like teachers, it's just that for the first time, I can do whatever I want for my future. My dad seems to be okay with the situation, but never with my mother.

Why? She never experienced what true freedom is like. She doesn't know many current generation Vietnamese girls want to have the same experience as the normal British people and enjoy life. Why the hell does she think I'm going to apply a job at a worthless supermarket with low minimum wage?!

SHE DOESN'T EVEN REALISES I HAVE A SMALL TALENT IN TERMS OF BEING CREATIVE AND APPLYING THAT TO THE CANVAS!!! And doing an art and design foundation course in uni is a good choice, but she never understands! That's why I hate the past Vietnamese women who were restricted in their entire life!

Call me a black sheep, Vietnamese and British girls and women, but wake up! Break away the old society of Vietnamese life and explore the unknown, where your undiscovered talent will unlock yourself and be happy. Stand up to your Vietnamese mothers and tell them that you're not like them!

I've just discovered that the current generation ones are being oppressed, because of thier great talents, so I'm standing up and I'm telling my mother that their old ways of raising the children is too old for the society today and break the boundaries that surround and for once, reaching their favourite dream.

Another Religious Rant

Yes, that's what the title above says, but I'm getting shocked that according to the Comment over at Wednesday's Guardian, Muslims today hate Jews, even they said that the Holocaust was just a hoax.

As a Catholic person, I find that very sickening and morally wrong that some Islamic countries just shut down Hitler's torture to the Jews. And I can say only one comment to them:

'HELLO! Muslims, especially living in Islamic countries, get over it and stop hating the Jews!'

The Jews suffered more damage in history than your people ages ago. I mean, if Hitler is still alive, would he torture the same people as you are (if you are a Muslim)?

World War II must be accepted to all Muslims as a history they cannot forget, because even Hitler suffered some Catholics as well, not forgetting Pope Benedict XVI (German) left the Nazi party, as he was forced to be in the army. Not just the Jews.

So, in conclusion, if Christian people forgave the Jews and thte Jews forgave the Christians, why not do the same to Muslims forgiving Jews? And I don't mean suiciding yourselves to kill people and proclaim it as 'jihad'.

History is important to everyone and we must not forget the people, especially those who suffered in the Holocaust and one day, we can find peace in the future, without resorting to violence.

The Vatican is going to ex-communicate me.

After reading yesterday Metro's regarding Pope Benedict XVI's 'comment' that g a y priests should be banned, I find it ridiculous and alienating the minority more than buddhists and Protestants.

Regarding that I'm actually Catholic, I just don't like the way the current Pope is commenting about them. I mean, he says that all people should communicate with each other, regardless of religion, race and relationships, why should he be abusing homos e x u a l people? Is he really a homophobic?

What's next, the Pope banning young Catholic teenage girls writing shounen-ai (Boy's Love) fanfiction or drawing shounen-ai fanart? I wish the late Pope John Paul II could sort this mess out. Sheesh, I feel like I'm being manipulated by the Church, where the freedom of expression, words and the right to crictise have been banned and turning into more communist than North Korea. I'm starting to really worry about the Church's future.

D a m n me, Ratzinger lovers and Catholic extremist people, but let me warn you that times are changing; people are more aware that we need to find the real truth and I found out that we do make mistakes as humans; that INCLUDES the Pope and not even every religion has the ultimate meaning of life.
